NI Surf Kayak Squad for this year's World Championships has been
picked from the 2006 National Ranking List (compiled using the competitors'
best three ranking scores from the four CANI Surf League competitions)
with Squad Manager, Mike Barton:
Jonny Bingham, Dessie McGlinchey, Ashley Hunter, Chris Hobson,
Richard Hobson, Kevin Quinn, Alan Knox, Damien Smith, Gerry McGahey,
Cathaoir Dolan, Kevin Lewsley, Corin King, Jake King, Elaine Alexander,
Chloe Hamilton, Erica Chisholm.
Squad for 2008 Home Internationals
This squad will be selected directly from this year’s (2007) National
Ranking List by taking the top ranked, eligible competitors
in each of the following categories:
- Men's International Classic (IC) - 4 men
- Men's High Performance (HP) - 4 men
- Women's IC - 2 women
- Women's HP - 2 women
- Junior IC - 1 junior (under 19)
- Junior HP - 1 junior (under 19)
- Masters HP - 1 masters (over 39)
- Masters IC - 1 masters (over 39)
The maximum number of alternates: 2 men IC, 2 men HP, 2 women, 1 junior,
and 1 master. Note: squad members must be full CANI members. |
