2013 NI Surf Kayak / Surfkayaks.com League Comp 3 - Results & Report
Thanks to everyone who came along to the NI Surf Kayak / surfkayaks.com sponsored league competition, held at Marblehill beach in NW Donegal on Sunday the 12th May.
Although it seemed to rain most of the day it didn't dampen the spirits of the competitors and there was some fine surf kayaking skills on display throughout the day. The Kings were having a good day with young Jake doing the double by wining both the men's long and short boat and Corin getting top spot in the wave ski final. Thanks to www.rapidkayaking.com for organising.
Next competition is scheduled to take place on the weekend of the 25/26 May also to be held in Donegal please keep an eye on the news section of the forum for further info in the days leading up to the comp.

The development day that was scheduled to take place on the weekend of 13th April has been cancelled due to lack of surf.
A rerun date will be posted as soon as it had been confirmed.

The rerun date for Competition 1 has been confirmed for Saturday 25th May.
This will take place in North Donegal and details will be updated closer to the time.
The next event in the league will be competition 2 which is scheduled to take place on Saturday 20th April in Portrush.

2013 NI Surf Kayak / Surfkayaks.com League
Once again the NI league will be kindly sponsored by http://www.surfkayaks.com with a fantastic prize of a brand new surf kayak up for grabs.
The League is run over 4 competitions on the north and northwest coasts of Ireland, and is open to all paddlers of 3 star ability or above.
As usual there will be a plastic class which is aimed at people new to surfkayaking and novice paddlers were you can compete in your own gp or river kayak, we will also be able to provide plastic and glass surf kayaks for anyone wanting to try.
This year we will also be introducing a waveski class to all competitions.

NI Surf Kayak - AGM
Please note that the AGM of the Northern Ireland Surf Kayak Club will take place on Saturday 26th January at 6pm.
The location for the AGM will be East Strand Watersports Centre, Portrush.
Anyone who is interested in helping to develop surf kayaking within NI is asked to attend.
